Psychological Conditions and Social Relations of School Dropouts

This study aims to understand the psychological condition and social relations of adolescents who have dropped out school. research was conducted using a qualitative case type approach. The took place in Kalibening District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. informants this were five out-of-school adolescents, along with their parents, teachers, peers, total 21 people. selected purposive sampling technique. Data collection implemented semi-structured interview techniques. data obtained analyzed thematic analysis. results indicated that school low learning motivation, are introverted, less able control themselves, experience anxiety, tend surrender circumstances, forced by circumstances be economically independent. Parents responsible educational aspirations, student-teacher conflicts, teacher's minimal role as second parent at school, bad influence from friends, bullying practices contribute adolescents' desire quit implied understanding can help detect vulnerability dropping Thus, assistance involving peers support system could prevent issue.
